Co-Founder and Owner
Simon Dudley
Simon is the co-founder and owner of kbs, with 17 years’ experience in fraud detection and data analytics within General Insurance.
Simon has had primary responsibility for product development & customer success since kbs was founded in 2010. Simon is known for innovative & responsible use of data to influence strategies, improve outcomes and increase process efficiencies across the Fraud & Investigations landscape. Simon is able to bridge the gap between senior executives and technical teams, gaining the trust, and respect of and communicating effectively with both groups.
Prior to co-founding kbs, Simon had experience within the Insurance industry and prior to that had almost 10 years’ experience in the Telco sector in a variety of Consulting, Insights generation, Business Intelligence and Planning & Forecasting roles.
Simon is committed to leading kbs through its next phase of growth & evolution as a leader in the Fraud, Investigations and Intelligence market for General Insurance.
Chief Operating Officer
Sharon Quinn Grady
Sharon Quinn Grady is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in operational leadership and stakeholder management within General Insurance. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at kbs, Sharon is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring the seamless execution of strategic initiatives, and driving operational and customer excellence across all departments.
Sharon brings a wealth of expertise in designing and optimising business processes, enhancing organisational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results. Prior to joining kbs she held leadership positions at Finity Consulting, IAG, Wesfarmers Insurance and Suncorp, designing and executing market-leading initiatives across the insurance value chain, significantly improving revenue, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, claim cost reduction and supply chain performance.
With a deep understanding of industry dynamics and a forward-thinking mindset, Sharon is dedicated to propelling kbs toward a future of continued success and innovation.


UK Managing Director
John Joyce
John Joyce brings 27 years of expertise in the IT industry, where he’s managed multi regional, multi-million-pound programmes spanning several years. Since joining kbs he has played an integral part in client liaison and prides himself on helping to deliver first class detection systems leading to great customer success stories.
John led the successful ISO27001 accreditation project for kbs and is responsible for the continuous improvements in all aspects of kbs’s security management systems. This includes working with external security partners and ensuring all ISO27001 controls are being met. In particular working with external vendors ensuring they meet kbs’s strict security standards. And also working through regular assessments with client security and risk teams.
John holds qualifications in Business Management, Project and Programme Management, underscoring his agile and expert approach to project execution and delivery.
