Introduction

kbs Intelligence was proud to take part in the IAATI 2025 Australasian Vehicle Crimes Conference, held in Brisbane on 27–28 October. Bringing together law enforcement, insurers, forensic specialists, and investigation service providers, the event focused on the latest advances in vehicle crime preventionforensic investigation, and insurance fraud detection across Australia and New Zealand.

Honouring Industry Excellence

We were honoured that our CEO, Simon Dudley, attended and presented two prestigious awards – the Investigation of the Year Award and the Forensic & Supporting Services Award. Both recognise outstanding contributions to tackling vehicle crime through collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

These awards celebrate the individuals and teams whose expertise, persistence, and integrity help protect policyholders and strengthen trust across the insurance industry.

Advancing the Fight Against Vehicle Crime

The IAATI 2025 Conference provided an invaluable forum for sharing insights on emerging fraud patterns, new investigation techniques, and the role of technology in modern claims management. Sessions explored how AI, advanced data science, and analytics can enhance early-stage triage, evidence validation, and cross-agency cooperation,  themes that closely align with kbs Intelligence’s mission.
